Hair inspiration

I am in desperate need of a haircut and I have taken to these beautiful ladies for inspiration. A young Goldie Hawn with that blonde bouncy wavy do with the longish bangs, the kind of shorter version of bangs on the gorgeous as ever Kate Moss, or I'm kind of tempted to cut my hair a lot shorter and try to copy the tousled shoulder length blonde do that Kim Basinger sported in 9 1/2 weeks.

Summer dreamin'

Summer seems far away but picking up a light soft denim shirt and coral nail vanish lifted my mood while out shopping in my heavy winter boots and big parka. It's such a pain to go shopping in winter, all those layers to take off to try stuff on and not too mention how hot it gets especially in shopping centres and dragging around jackets and scarf and gloves and.. yeah I know serious problems! My mum said that maybe shopping centres should have a cloak room, hmm maybe an idea mum ;)

Monday inspiration

I keep longing for warmer weather and lightway summer shirts. Like a young Anjelica Huston I would like a striped 70's inspired easy-breezy cotton shirt like this crepe one from Isabel Marant.

Winter survivals

Hat, gloves and a scarf as big as a blanket are my winter essentials for cold days.

Beautiful sandals from Oscar de la Renta and Alaïa. Now if only I had a grand to spend on shoes..

Channelling Madonna, the Warren Beatty era.

I haven't really been copying Madonna's style since the 80's but these Illesteva glasses in yellow (might go for yellow instead of these blue) made me think of the glasses Madonna wore back in the early 90's.
